ePAT Software: NovaPAC© & NovaMath©

The ePAT series of measurement devices utilizes the industry leading PAT software application NovaPAC© (Process Analytical Control) to control all elements of the measurement device. Light sources, sampling devices, measurement parameters and data collection, are all orchestrated by the NovaPAC© software.

Up to twelve separate measurement attributes can be monitored simultaneously on each measurement channel. The standard package includes the following features.

  • User selectable data logging in ASCII or encrypted ASCII

  • Secure event data logs for all user events generated as a result of data collection or configuration changes

  • Audit trails generated daily with a new file generated automatically at midnight

  • Data storage is cGMP compliant

  • Compatible with chemometric applications Unscrambler and GRAMS

  • Immediate visual alarm notice when process parameters fall outside user specified limits; alarm notification or specified limits

  • User selectable data logging to local or remote storage

  • Automated validation routines to log files to record key measurement device parameters, such as wavelength and photometric accuracy.

  • Security features include password protection with four levels of user access

  • Spectral data and computed component values are viewable through an entire process

  • 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 4 compliant

Data analysis is performed by NovaMath©, our software application for mathematical analysis. NovaMath© is used in real time, with NovaPAC© to provide spectral calculations and modeling functionality.
