Expo Technologies Makes Further Strategic Investment in PAT

Columbia, MD - August 3rd 2006 - Today Expo Technologies announced further resource expansion in its Process Analytical Technologies Group.

Peter Bennett, Executive Vice President, today explained that the early success being enjoyed by Expo Technologies, combined with its aggressive plans to become the PAT implementation partner of choice for the pharmaceutical community, has enabled the addition of a number of appointments, significantly increasing the capabilities of the PAT Team.

Additions in the area of business development and customer support as well as Operations and manufacturing have been recruited at the company's Technology and Support Center, in Columbia, MD. "This will expedite the development and manufacture of the entire suite of applications focused PAT systems that we have in the pipeline" Bennett explained.

Finally, extra engineering resource to assist with design and utilities review, installation, IQ/OQ and service support has also been added. Bennett gave insight into Expo Technologies' culture as that of a team approach to PAT implementation, involving personnel from both Expo Technologies and the customers' PAT groups. "I instill in all members of my PAT Team that we need to provide excellent pre and post implementation support". "A deep understanding of the application and measurement objective, for a particular project, is paramount to the success of the project and the creation of long-lasting customer relationships.
