Expo Technologies LLC introduce Multi-function PAT and begin trials of fluorescence based PAT




Expo Technologies are industry leaders in pharma PAT development and implementation, providing complete solutions for Process Monitoring and Control. Much of Expo's current PAT measurement technology and associated engineering have been unit operation specific. However Chemical Development, Formulations Development and Pharmaceutical Development require greater flexibility from any single PAT device.<br>

With this in mind Expo Technologies introduce the next generation of PAT tool. <br>

 

The mPAT is based on Expo's established ePAT Series of dedicated PAT solutions and experience but with the flexibility of interchangeable sampling adapters for applications such as blend monitoring, wet and dry granulation monitoring, fluid bed dryer and reaction monitoring.

By providing a quick-change the sample interface, the NIR based mPAT offers a flexible and transportable measurement system for both Pharmaceutical and Chemical Development groups working on PAT implementation. The mPAT has all the supporting engineering that is Expo Technologies' trademark. The mPAT can also be used in the plant environment

Expo, have provided PAT for blend monitoring since its inception. The company is now adding fluorescence based technology to their ePAT portfolio of blend monitoring systems. Using the recognized format of their ePAT 601 & ePAT602 NIR based systems, initial trials of their latest technology are proving to be a success.

NovaPAC© PAT instrument control and analysis software is the only complete solution for process analysis and control. Offering control, not only of the measurement device engine, but also of peripheral devices and other supporting technology such as kinetic probes, heated probes, automatic validation modules, etc.

Real time prediction can be provided using models from Expo's industry leading NovaMath© chemometric application or by utilizing models and run time engines from other chemometrics packages.

NovaPAC© also operates as a full featured, bi-directional OPC server providing that important link and user interface between the process control system and the analysis or monitoring tool.
