Expo Technologies release version 5.0 of PAT software applications NovaPAC and NovaMath

New features and tested with Windows 7. Expo Technologies, leaders in Pharma PAT development and implementation, announce the long awaited release of version 5.0 of their award winning NovaPAC and NovaMath applications. "This has been an ambitious upgrade" explained Steve Free, Expo Technolgies' software development lead. NovaPAC, PAT instrument control software now controls an even wider range of NIR spectrometer brands, including Zeiss, Foss and ABB, as well as Expo's own ePAT series of PAT instruments that utilize NIR, UV-Vis and Fluorescence spectroscopy. NovaPAC can also manage multiple measurement channels. Peripheral devices such as automated instrument validation devices, heated probes, etc, are also now controlled. NovaMath, a standard chemometric package within the pharmaceutical PAT community has also been significantly upgraded to included connectivity to other chemometrics applications used within process analytics. Free went on further to explain the rationale to this stating, "Although we are very proud of our spectroscopy and real time processing focussed NovaMath application, we recognize that other data modelling packages are available. We are bringing interconnectivity of those applications to NovaMath"
